Terms of Service

These terms cover the rules for using Tradefaire, including our app and website (we call this the “Service”). By signing up or using Tradefaire, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. What Tradefaire is

Tradefaire is a place to buy and sell products online. Buyers can browse items and place orders. Sellers can list products, receive orders, and arrange delivery through the delivery options available on Tradefaire. We run the platform. Sellers are responsible for their listings, prices, and products unless we say otherwise.

2. Who can use Tradefaire

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract under Nigerian law. By using Tradefaire, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

• Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give us accurate information and update it when it changes.
• Sellers may need to verify their identity or business before they can sell or withdraw money.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.

4. If you are buying

• Sellers set product descriptions and prices.
• Payments are processed through Tradefaire’s payment systems and licensed processors. Once payment succeeds, your order is binding, subject to seller acceptance where that applies.
• Delivery dates are estimates. Tracking updates reflect the status reported for your shipment.
• Refunds and disputes follow our in-app rules and Nigerian consumer protection law.

5. If you are selling

• You must have the right to sell what you list and follow Nigerian law.
• Your listings must be honest. Do not list prohibited items.
• Accept or decline orders within the time shown in the app (for example, within 24 hours).
• Get packages ready for pickup or dispatch as directed in the app.
• Fees, commission, and payout timing are shown in the app.

6. Payments and wallet

Payments are handled by licensed payment processors. We do not store your full card details. Wallet balances and withdrawals may go through verification and fraud checks. Any fees are shown in the app.

7. What you cannot do

You agree not to:

• Use Tradefaire for fraud, money laundering, or anything illegal
• Post false, misleading, or stolen content
• Disrupt the app or harm other users
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse our systems without permission
• Find ways around fees or security

8. Content and ownership

Tradefaire owns the app, branding, and software. You keep ownership of content you upload, but you give us permission to host, show, and share it so we can run the Service.

9. No guarantees

We provide the Service as-is, within the limits allowed by law. We cannot promise the app will always work without interruptions or errors. We are not responsible for what sellers do, delays in delivery, or events outside our control.

10. Limits on our liability

Under Nigerian law, Tradefaire is not liable for indirect or follow-on damages (for example lost profits). For any claim related to the Service, our maximum liability is the higher of (a) what you paid us in the three months before the claim, or (b) ₦50,000, unless the law says we must pay more.

11. Closing your account

You can stop using Tradefaire at any time. We may suspend or close access if you break these terms, if we see risk, or if the law requires it. Sections that need to survive after closure (such as payment obligations, liability limits, and dispute rules) will still apply.

12. Nigerian law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes go to Nigerian courts unless consumer protection law gives you a different option.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date. For important changes, we may also notify you in the app. If you keep using Tradefaire after an update, that means you accept the new terms.
